¿QUÉ HACER DÍAS O MESES PREVIOS A UNA COMPETENCIA?
- Recuerda ir donde tu médico de confianza y pedirle que te mandé a hacer unos exámenes de control, es importante descartar cualquier factor que nos pueda afectar en el momento de la carrera.
- Si tu competencia es fuera de tu ciudad, recuerda revisar que los tiquetes, que tu vuelo no haya sido cancelado o el itinerario haya cambiado.
- Revisa que tengas tu uniforme de competencia listo, y para ser más precavido ten uno de repuesto, uno nunca sabe que puede pasar.
- Trata de cumplir con los entrenamientos que tu coach ha establecido, es importante llegar preparados física y mentalmente. Recuerda que por cada entrenamiento perdido puede haber un cambio en el rendimiento de tu carrera.
- Hazte masajes deportivos de recuperación, esto te ayudará a evitar lesiones, a no tener sobrecargas y a cumplir con tu entrenamiento de manera más eficiente.
- Recuerda tener la asesoría con tu coach. Este último paso es muy importante ya que él es el encargado de explicarte cómo te está enfocando el entrenamiento, qué es importante que hagas y que no, él te dará el plan de carrera y por último con el puedes desahogarte sobre las sensaciones que estás teniendo en los entrenamientos y demás…
Estar preparado para una carrera no es solo tener un traje listo y salir a competir. Hay muchos factores que pueden influir de manera negativa o positiva y por eso debemos tenerlos muy presente. Con estos consejos podrás estar preparado para llegar y cumplir ese sueño por el que tanto has entrenado.
